I like this shot, I think I would have focused a bit more on the closer eye rather than the far (or just not have used such a rapidly declining aperature). Her face is full of emotion, and the lighting adds to the drama.

I assume the lack of focus on the face is deliberate. That, the expression, and the crop provide a feeling of remoteness, but I wonder if the same effect could have been achieved just as well with the face in focus. Lovely details and areas of light in the shawl and her hair.
