A winning smileby mkothareComment by Yo_Spiff: I didn't vote this challenge, but I can tell you that what let this one down was too much JPEG compression. This one should have beat my own entry except for that. The compression used is way too much to give a good quality image. The model is attractive, and the lighting is good. You are really getting good with the model shots. Portraiture is not my own forte.
I think you use Photoshop, (I don't) and you can find plenty of info on how to use the "Save for web" function to save your image as close as possible to the challenge limit. |

A winning smileby mkothareComment by magnus: Ouch! Such a beautiful model, great expression, and excellent lighting, but then the image is ruined by massive compression artifacts! You should definitely invest the time to figure out how to properly use whatever software you use, since you clearly have talent. Don't let mundane stuff like compression get in the way of your skills! |
