A clever idea and a technical success, it's less than successful in an artistic sense. DOF control is excellant and the lighting isn't over done creating blooms. The subject is less than interesting. Perhaps a slightly different angle would have helped. A little more thought and better framing would have brought the rating higher.

Not as DNMC as some others. It may be a toy train, but it IS a train. My beef with it is not about fitting the challenge. At only 26k in size, you used a lot of JPEG compression in this pic and it is probably what is taking away most of the detail and impact. Compression kills detail. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (150k for this one)

The oof foreground could have been cropped out to bring the focused part in to the main part of the picture. I still like it though!
