Dawn at the Harbourby andrewmComment by lisae: Nice atmospherid shot. I really like the composition of this, with all elements leading towards the vanishing point. |

Dawn at the Harbourby andrewmComment by autool: I would be ready to buy this one if it were not so damp and cold. That is what it is saying to me, maybe if you had waited a few seconds more the sun would have warmed it up a bit, and added more color to the clouds. At least that would make your picture for me. 7 |

Dawn at the Harbourby andrewmComment by jerrft: I realy like the color balance in this shot. The pink/white sky balances out the darker portions well. Well done. |

Dawn at the Harbourby andrewmComment by kiwiness: Wild cloud formation there! I like the effect of night time on the left and still daylight on the right. Something about the boats on the right bothers me though, I would have prefered to have nothing on the right as it seems to break the transformation from dark to light. It would have been great to have the sun setting there instead. |

Dawn at the Harbourby andrewmComment by FranziskaLang: Challenge met, I can definitely see this being used as stock photography. It is also a nice photo. The clouds add a lot of interest to the photo (could almost qualify for leading lines this week :-P). Overall, I think I would like to see this just a tinsy tad brighter to see just a little bit more detail, but w/out blowing out the sky. Good entry :) |

Dawn at the Harbourby andrewmComment by jmsetzler: The sky in this photo is beautiful, but the lack of detail in the foreground could make this photo a tough canditate for stock.. - setzler |

Dawn at the Harbourby andrewmComment by inspzil: Pretty good photo. Lacking the crispness to make it a really good photo though. I like the concept and the angle, just wondering where the sun is at this point. |

Under Constructionby andrewmComment by jmsetzler: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Andrew...
This is a great architectural shot. I really like the patterns and designs that most architectural shots offer. This photo also displays some very nice color in the reflection. The bit of yellow from the steel structure on the left really pops nicely. That special 'touch of color' added by that element really works nicely in this photo. I also like the diagonals created by the windows glass. Those diagonals create your perspective for this shot quite well :)
I can't really offer you much on improvements for this shot.
Keep up the good work!
John Setzler

Under Constructionby andrewmComment by lisae: I'm not sure that this really gives a strong sense of perspective. It's a bit flat, and the reflected building seems to be the subject of the photo. I don't feel that we see the reflected building at a steep angle. I like the photo though, I just don't think it's on topic. |
