You have birds in flight. I wish they were more the focus. I don't like that the splashes of color are just the jackets worn by a couple of folks on the boat. Maybe going bw would have helped. The color of the water is jarring against the wonderfully beautiful trees and hills (and clouds) in the background.

Hey Ken,

Thanks for the compliment on the photo. And you're right, the time on the exif doesn't make sense. Simple answer; my camera was set to the wrong time. This shot was actually taken between 8:30 and 9pm(I believe), as the sun was mostly set, and the moon was starting to rise. So it was indeed a night shot and not a morning shot.

Hope that clears up the confusion.

Second: I don't understand the time of this photo. The EXIF shows Original Date/Time = 2009:09:03 06:36:54
That is 06:36am. Looking up sunrise and moon set for that date, and from Yellowstone NP east clear to Seattle west, Ephemeris information shows the moon WAS set by 05:30am in Montana/Idaho/and Washington. And in all of those states the sun did NOT rise until 07:00am about.

So, question: How could you take a photo when the moon or sun wasn't in the sky at the time the camera shows by an hour? What is in the sky? Or is it something as simple at the time being wrong in the camera? In daylight time, the moon set in Yakama @ 05:15 and @ 04:15 standard time.

Nice shot anyway, but I like things to fit the way they are supposed to!

Could I have an answer please?
