Very pretty picture of a very pretty bird -- but that looks to me like a partridge, which is not even a member of the pigeon family. And I was sort of thinking that the pigeon's particular status and reputation would be an important part of the challenge. Lovely shot though.

Ha! I love it -- the eyes looking out between wings and tail, almost as if compensating for the missing eyes of the pigeon. Too bad the roof surface is so white, but that can't be helped. Love the bird's pink feet.

Well, I love this picture, and I'm glad you lived through it. Good story too.

I do have one memory of sitting in my car in a parking lot in Pittsburgh, terrified, while the car shook and bobbed and the trees bent over and the street lights sprang back and forth and I thought I would die in a tornado! Who woulda thunk. (we were driving to State College).

Well, I liked the toes. It's a little drama--there are the bare toes next to this thing that looks like a toy until you look closer and see that it is a hermit crab. A crab,with sharp feet and pincers--next to toes, such bare, vulnerable toes! Very nice toes. The footwear is just a little stage for the playful drama!
