The Ruinby e301Comment: This has Heida's burning touch written all over it. |

Layers of Life Undergroundby stormyComment: Interesting picture, the onion doesn't seem to be as sharp as it should be, that may be because of lighting issues, looking at the background, it goes from a brown to a eggshell white. Would like to know how you did this though, it is a technique that would be interesting to copy. |

Man-made Webby MomoComment: Good eye to see the pattern in this photo. The lighting is good, but the uneven brightness/size of the lights detracts from the interesting architecture. |

Every Phiber of My Bluingby acitranoComment: Interesting photo, unfortunately there is nothing there for me to understand exactly what it is, so my interest isn't held any longer than asking "what is it?" |

Life From Deathby ellamayComment: Great capture of this moment in time. I do think that this capture doesn't do as well as it should because of the similarities of the colors across the whole picture, with nothing really standing out except for the brown leg and the pinpoint eye. But the water, feathers, fish are all the same color, so my eyes are continually wandering without finding a place to rest (the eye is too small to hold interest for long). Maybe a small border, or tighter crop on the head and fish would work better. |

Grey days; thoughts on the journey homeby e301Comment: I don't know if others will like this shot, but I love it. I keep coming back to it, trying to see if I can see anything in the reflection. The grain as well as the darkness add to the image. I could easily see this photo on the cover of some novel. |

Drop by Dropby TrinchComment: Beautiful cave formations, however, it seems to be a bit blurry, and looks like there are lots of artifacts (especially on the columns to the right). I'm guessing that you shot it handheld at a high iso, and then tried fixing it. Good try at a difficult scene. |

The Pilots Viewby TacoVendorComment: Although the cockpit is very complex, the square on look, as well as the colors do not lend well to an eye-catching photograph. Maybe a different angle/perspective would help. The other thing that bothers me in the photo is the difference in the top right of the canopy compared to the top left canopy. The bright glare draws my eye up to that corner. |

Teaching A Dog To Ride A Bicycleby guitar_mannComment: Although not the most excellent photo in the world, I am still scoring it high because it is the only one that made me smile and like enough to call my wife in to see it. Great perspective. |
