Garlic-Roastedby robifisComment: The range of brightness is a bit too wide here, I would suggest shining some light on the background so the garlic won't be so blown out and you will still see the background. Ambient light and a longer shutter speed might have helped to avoid the harsh shadows as well. I like the texture of the surface you used, it is very earthy which goes well with the garlic. |

eggsby dl_maggiComment: Very nice shapes and colours, I find it visually pleasing. It seems though that the front of the subjects are slightly out of focus, and could be improved by increasing the depth of field. |

My Healthy Journeyby SomeamateurComment: Because the pepper is not fresh and rather dried out, it takes away from the healthy image you are trying to portray. Use a fresh new veggie (and maybe a bit brighter lighting) and you've got yourself a very nice photo. You did compose it nicely. :-) |

Peppersby gunsmith6Comment: Nice healthy specimens which is important, and you have captured the colours nice and vibrantly. I feel though that showing what they are sitting on in the bottom left side takes away from it somewhat. Maybe if it was cropped out, or something like a plain black plate, it would clean it up a bit. Another thing I notice is a couple of harsh shadows amoung the peppers. Softer lighting would be ideal, but if you had used a black surface, they wouldn't have shown up as much. Not bad though. |

The Flagby whiterookComment: Very tongue-in-cheek, but I'm not sure the rules of the challenge are open to interpretation... As a picture in of itself, I would prefer if the sky was either more blue, or completely white. The slight hue of cyan is not pleasing to my eye, and the stripes at least should be true white. Nice freezing of the action though. |

Irrigation Controlby tmanmegaComment: So neat how the indents become protrusions. You've also manipulated the colours so that it doesn't even look like a negative. Nice job. |
