Liquid Goldby jgal76Comment: Way too many things with this title, and anyhow coffee (or dark tea?) does not say 'gold' to me. That having been said...
It's an interesting shot. I think the addition of the newspaper was good, but whatever is at the top I think should have been omitted as it tends to draw the eye more than you probably want. I like your tablecloth, it makes a great backdrop. |

sinkingby shutterflyComment: 'not water'. Which is a pity as this is an interesting idea -- good photojournalism type. One could argue about the 'mud' making it more on topic but I'm dubious mud qualifies as 'not water' even if I count it as 'liquid'. I hope this was candid and not staged, er, well, no... I mean... well, I hope no one was hurt? |

Bloody Splashby alternaruleComment: Not entirely sure what this is but it's a pretty combination of colours. Is the graininess intentional? It does add a bit of depth. |

Cleaning Timeby ladpupmoeComment: As soap pictures go, considerably more interesting than the 'spilled soap' idea so many others have gone with. I like the inclusion of the scrubbing pad for interest level and colour contrast alike. |

1968 Cup of coffeeby pitsamanComment: Okay. Mug of coffee = definitely liqiud. Interesting mug. Nice colour for the backdrop (towel or rug?). Reasonably interesting, on topic. |

Washing Solutionby CLarson557Comment: Oh, hey, look, it's NOT SOAP. It's Windex, that's different.
I like the reflection, the bubbly liquid, the dry in the back to highlight the liquid. |

Honey dripping off a spoonby InnaNComment: As I'm sure you've seen by now, this was a popular topic. Interesting to focus on the drip itself, but I think in that case I would have preferred the spoon be absent. |

Floatingby johnmkComment: Er. Where's the liquid? Oh. Wait. Is the whole blue the liquid? Water? It's so placid and still it doesn't feel liquidy and water was off topic by declaration... |

Liquid Goldby TarbiniComment: I think this is the third picture I've seen with this title. Also a fair number with the topic. Lighting seems odd -- either that's a very dark-coloured spoon or it really is on a bit of a strange angle. If the spoon is actually dark-coloured, it's a good choice to give contrast. Not terribly interesting to me overall but it does meet the topic just fine. |
