A Quiet Placeby taterbugComment: The lighting is too harsh on the bush. Come back in the evening for softer and more vibrant light |

many?by riderComment: Yeah, there have been alot of fireworks in this challenge, but I still like these images. The capture is flawless, and the reflection looks great. |

Sunburstby LimboComment: Good use of a yellow border--it keeps the negative space at the top from being unbalanced. |

CRIMSONby GenrOneComment: I have this one pegged for the blue, since it's pretty sweet, and it strictly fits the definition of the challenge. Personally, I'd much rather be looking at the beautiful textures of the metal end and paper tube... |

Celebrationby levyj413Comment: The city foreground doesn't add anything to the image, and is sort of ugly. The firework explosion is the focus of your image, and the crop should reflect that. Get rid of the other stuff and focus on that beautiful pink explosion! |

Full Bloomby rileyComment: It's a pretty flower, but the lighting kills the image. Come back in the evening, around sunset, and you'll get vibrant light that will set the image off. |

Set Me Freeby SherwinJamesComment: I like the use of the lattice pattern, but you could crop the top half of the image and lose nothing. Likewise, some warmer and more vibrant light (around sunrise or sunset) would make the green really pop out |

Kiss Meby zackdezonComment: The rose looks dead. Is it supposed to? Since I'm reading this image without any context, any intent for a 'dead' rose needs to be clearly conveyed in the image. Otherwise, I'm stuck thinking 'oh, I wish that was a beautiful and vibrant red rose'.
It certainly would help, especially given the western symbolism of roses and women. |
