Great idea and good shot! The trees to the right somewhat distract from the perfect symmetry, but the ship itself is interesting! A closer (horizontal) crop might make all the difference (emphasis on the symmetry rather than ship). Really like the concept!

The form and textures and amazing. The 'everydayness' of the object, and often unobserved symmetry of the shoelace is visually interesting and brought to life by your great shot. I am only unsure about the border, which seems either too small or unnecessary. I expect either removing it, or increasing it's size a few pixels would make quite a difference. None-the-less a great shot.

In my opinion this serves to prove that sometimes the simplest things are the most effective. The picture is clear (and I can almost feel the cold!). Great shot.
