Decomposingby ryandComment: Beautiful. Great texture. Would benefit, I think, from a wider crop - maybe even all the way square.
A 9 from me. |

On the market placeby silverscreenComment: Great contrast; midtones are perhaps a bit dark? Your whites are white, but the whole image appears a tetch dark to me. I love the little bit of motion blur in the sellers hands.
I don't think this is a DPC friendly image, but I dig it a lot. |

Wait! No Paint!by amateurboiComment: Originally posted by amateurboi: It is kind of disheartening where the image ended up. But yes, I'd call this a difference in perspective. I took the word complementary as 'negation'.. So in that perspective, black and white were complementary colors... Thanks for some of the wonderful comments. |
With this attitude you'll do well - it's a nice image, just doesn't meet the challenge. In an appropriate challenge I think it would have done well. |

Autumn Fallsby NeilComment: Not my favorite editing technique, but you use it to good end here. Texture on the falls is wonderful. |

Tarmacby jaysonmcComment: This is awesome. Might be even more awesome if the distortions were corrected, not sure. I'm guessing it suffers from the small size, too... too bad. |

Orientalby bubeltrubelComment: Yikes! Those eyes!
Very nice colors and texture... His/her nose looks a little big, perhaps distorted by a wide-angle lens? |
