The Majesticby clauderbaughComment: Wonderful picture with nice detail in the white feathers. The sky is a great contrast. I know this type of photo is really difficult to plan but considering your background is so clear and therefore easy to work with, what about cutting out the slice of sky between the bird and the wooden perch to narrow the distance between them and then extending the sky in front of the bird to give it more space to fly into. If you try an edit like this, I would love to see it! |

Hmmm ...by GeneralEComment: Excellent concept! Maybe just lighten the hand a little to show more detail. |

Long John Seagullby MichaelCComment: Excellent shot! I love the softness in the background and the way you have managed to catch the birds eye so clearly. Gives him a rather far away, dreamy expression. Poor thing though, wonder what happened to his little foot! |

Iridescentby fancypantsComment: I love the out of focus petals in the background and the bright colours. The fly is also well placed and nicely photographed. Only one small gripe, the shadow cast by the fly is a bit strong. |

Chocolate Mint Creekby posthumousComment: I think this photo should have been composed to eliminate some of the pale sticks and branches hanging around the edges. It makes the picture seem a bit cluttered and the focus on the smooth water is lost. Zooming in and isolating one of the lovely moss covered rocks with water flowing past the front, I feel, would have had more impact. Well spotted though. |
