An outstanding photo! Exquisite focus. B&W was definitely a wise choice. The expression on the cat is marvelous; being in middle-age myself, I can certainly see myself (at times) mirrored here. My only reason for not giving this a ten (and it's a bit churlish of me, but this *is* about the Rule of Thirds, after all) is that I think this should have been cropped to move the cat to the right just a tiny amount: a little too much brick is showing. The eyes are a little off the grid nodes, which is really a petty complaint, but there it is. Still and all, this is a wonderful photo :-)
