pbdpc.jpgby ellamayComment: As everyone else has said, this is a great shot. I think it is wonderful to actually see a photo of a polar bear in the wild :) I love his position and I love where you put his eye. You nailed the exposure. It does look like a little contrast would help it though. I typically start with levels, bringing in my sliders. Then i do an s-curve in curves. If i still need more contrast I add a duplicate layer of either overlay or soft light and i bring the opacity down to 0 and start working it up until I like what I see. Great shot! |

Final Approachby PaulComment: The flower is a little distracting, but the bug is awesome. It is super sharp and I'm impressed that it is in flight. How do you like this lens? I am looking into getting a macro lens in the near future. I shoot on a tripod most of the time as is. |

Wild Boarsby in2truthComment: These are really neat. The beard is so interesting. I'm jealous that you got to go to Borneo. The boar looks a little soft to me. |

The Thing!by SteefComment: THE THING!!!! or his cousin anyways... This lens is so sharp, you're gonna love it. This shot is super sharp. Did you crop at all or is this full frame? Were you on your tripod? |

Taking flightby Delta_6Comment: Great job stopping the motion here. Your exposure looks spot on to me. Just wondering if this is a large crop because you took it with the 70-200, or did you actually get super close? My nitpicks are that the bush is a little distracting and I would like to see a bit more room for him to fly into. Great job though, osprey are one of my favorite birds to observe. |

Towards a New Architectureby tyt2000Comment: I like this a alot. There appears to be another reflection in the building as well but I can't tell what it is. That would be my only complaint but its minor. |

The Towerby jdannelsComment: I like this image a lot. My only nitpick is that the more I stare at it, the more the little bit of dock in the bottom corner draws away my attention. |

Lens gutsby Yo_SpiffComment: That's pretty neat. I'm glad I don't have to drop mine to find out what it looks like on the inside ;-) |
