Billy Joby ace flymanComment: I didn't vote in the challenge but I really like this shot. Your focus is spot on. I'm surprised it didn't do better. I think that your framing might be a little too tight around the head. A little more space would open it up a bit. |

Hawk Watch (3 shot HDR)by SteefComment: Originally posted by Melethia: Nicely real. What's in the tree on the left? The angle makes it look like i'm a lot closer to the edge than I really am. There is probably a good 8 more feet of rock before it drops off. The drop right there isn't too bad. I mean I wouldn't want to fall, but you'd probably just tumble into some trees. I believe the think on the tree is someone's backpack. BTW I'm the second one from the right (I guess that's probably obvious by the camera!) |

Yellowby ErikVComment: I love the colors and its tack sharp which I am always a fan of. I think the flower in the background distracts me a bit from the bee which should be the main focus. I like it and I think its a great score for a free study. I expect to see this one in the Wildlife Images Side challenge, then I'm sure you'll get more comments ;-) |

Deep in Thoughtby SteefComment: I like where you put him in this one. My favorite part is the pinks in the background. This photo may benefit if you actually zoomed out and had the branch exiting the photo on the top vertical third, rather than in the corner. |

Baby Blue Jayby TammsterComment: I love the look on this little guys face. It looks a little blown out above his eyes, but that may just be this monitor. I probably should look at these on my calibrated monitor at home rather than at work ;-) |

On the lookoutby Delta_6Comment: You must have been pretty close to this guy! I see osprey inland all the time, they do hang out around lakes and rivers as well. |
