Japanese Gardenby lykofosComment: There is a nice levity in this picture. I've tried taking pictures inside a arboratorium before but found the dim lighting conditions difficult to work with and I didn't have a tripod with me at time. I think your exposure is spot on here. |

Spring Tonesby jjbeguinComment: I like the muted dark shades of the leaves juxtaposed against the warm tones of the flower. Composition is also quite pleasing. However, I find my eye wandering to the leaves at the top, so it would be nicer if the focus on the leaves was less sharp than the flowers. |

April Showers Bring... White Trees?by inspzilComment: It's sunny and springlike where I am :) Sorry, just had to rub that in. ;-) But maybe you like winter... Nice picture. It's very emotive. But I don't think I would have used such a thick heavy border and I probably would have cropped the bottom quarter and shown more sky. |
