I like this, the grass and treetop glistens and the light cast though the tree adds a certain dimension to the shot.

BTW, my husband and I and possibly some friends of ours will be in Vancouver for a week and Victoria for 3 days between Oct 4th and 15th. This will be my first time to Vancouver and 2nd time to Victoria, which I think is a marvelous place. Any must see suggestion will be appreciated.

The improvement in your work is showing. I admire your perseverance. Practice will get you to your goal. Your almost there on the composition. A little tweaking of aligning it too balance out more will help. IMO. I agree with another commenter that this looks like a painting. The only exception is the sky. This, I think brought your score down the most. The color and vividness is a great improvement from your earlier work. Keep it up. Good job.

I did not vote on this challenge but as I scanned the images, yours stood out as being very unique from the bunch. I love this. There is a bit of surrealism in this image.
