Phillip Island Road - Cowesby bcenuComment: Sorry if you didn't appreciate some of the comments. It's a photo judging site so it's all subjective. This particualr work did not do it for me. I prefer the less processed look.
After going through your other submissions I found a lot of things I absolutely loved. I would love to see the original of this one. I bet I like it too. |

Outback Styleby MichaelCComment: I love the colors in this. The sky and the lit interior compliment each other. |

Via del Corso by JimiRoseComment: I absolutely love the mood of this photo. I can hear the patter of the rain and the hurried footsteps. Great job. |

Self Hateby JaimeVinasComment: I really thought this would be in the top three.
I don't agree with the averted eyes comments at all. I think the models direct gaze expresses a desperate searching for help from others. The focus is her anguish, her self hatred and that works with the eye contact. Looking towards the pills or the gun would have made me think about the action of suicide and not the reason. |

Self Hateby JaimeVinasComment: First, this photo is really good. Her expression seems genuine. There is futility in her eyes. The heavy black gun is a great counterpoint to her pale look. Oddly though, that seemed to take away from the photo. I sensed a gentle anguish, a feminine bleakness so to speak, and the gun adds a jarring masculinity that feels out of place.
Nice job though. |

Hatred Incarnateby e10icusComment: Blue invokes more of a feeling of sorrow or apathy rather than hate...at least for me, so this didn't work so well for me. I get no feeling of hatred from it. |
