The red and green complimentary colors are really nice. You might try going back here in the early morning/evening when the light is less harsh to get rid of the over exposure on parts of the rocks. |

Great creativity. Its brave to submit an image like this as I'm sure you either know or are finding out. Most people don't like the different images that break the rules. I do. Those are my favorite, and those kinds of photos make certain photographers stand out. While your photo is very creative (the first 3 in creativity for me so far), I think the compositional element isn't really there. It's the exact oposite of what most people have. I would work on trying different areas with different branch sequences, maybe zooming in during the exposure, or using a tripod so the branches are clear, or maybe using a slow shutter speed and flash. Experimenting with tons of ideas can really be fun. |

Extra/less points: +1 Taking an overused photo (girl with umbrella and leaves) and making it new (blury leaves)
I'm sure you're getting this a lot, but that one leaf on the face is distracting. I either want see the entire face or see none of it, not part of it.

Kudos on being creative with the subject matter. I think the over exposure on the girl works because of the concept/title. I would have liked to see that idea pushed further, maybe by making the entire image extremely overexposed, so over exposed you can only see some details. Also, I think the idea of the wind could be more emphasized. You could use a slower shutter speed so that the scarf and hair has motion blur. Just a thought. |

Beautiful lighting! I love the outline on the right, and ofcourse the hair (I'm a motion blur freak). A slower shutter speed might emphasize the wind even more. I would mess around with the cropping to make the hair more of the subject. You could crop the bottom off so everything below the eyes is cropped. I'm not trying to tell you hat to do with your images, I'm just trying to help you push the composition. |

Beautiful lighting! The contrast is great, and the subtlty (Sp?) of the color is great. As you can see, my voting relies heavily on creativity, which is harder said than done. It is designed to push photographers to a new level. Your photo is great, but I have seen many similar before. All it needs is that extra edge to push it even farther and make it stand out from the others. |

I like the texture of the lighting on the roofs of the houses; the time of day you picked worked out well, and made the sail boats stand out a little more than if it were at a different time. You used the rule of thirds well, but the composition is a little symetrical to me. I would have liked to see the sailboats spread out a little different. I know you don't have control of where they go, but maybe if you waited a few minutes one of the boats would have came closer. |
