Waves comming inby TUBORGComment: Nice try, but ... fill flash too strong in forground (almost gives it a split view with the dark band before the water) ... and the horizon is skewed! Generally a good idea but needs a little work. Composition too rigid and doesn't flow. |

The Hangoutby devoidComment: Crop is a little too tight for me, with the loss of the bird in the foreground distracting. Looks a little out of focus (camera shake??) and the central subject cannot compete with the masses on top. The bird at top right squawking is a better main subject. |

Footprintby james_soComment: Very simply done and a great result. Lighting is good in this instance and ground texture evident. Well placed withing the frame. My only nit-pick is the green debris just above the imprint. Otherwise, a well executed shot (been done many times before but still good). |

Loch Ness...?by Ragga2000Comment: If only his head was not in the reflection of the mountain (decapitated??). Beautiful capture with just enough interest (ripples, reflection, foreground) to be worthy of a good score. |

The Surfby sfaliceComment: The wash in the foreground adds balance to this image. Good eye. A good overall shot but needs to be done differently (think "outside the box") to be sen as anything other than a shot of the bridge and ocean. Technically sound with DoF and colour rendition. |

Sunset on the Sandby ZippyComment: Alright! Composition, subject material, colour, balance and portrait mode all work very well together. The detail in the swimmers works great as against a silhouette. Pastel colours great for framing! |
