You have a very nice "painter-ly" image here. The eyes are really stunning. They don't look all that happy being caged... I guess I wouldn't be either.

I like your post processing here. The black and white really get down to what's going on here instead of being distracted by the color. The DOF and the contrast work well for this image too.

Such a cute puppy! We have a longhair too, you can see her in my portfolio (in Misc). The colors in this shot are wonderful, as is her intent stare upon that treat (I see that look on a multi-time a day basis).

I think the exaggerated contrast works really well here. It adds a very nice shape and definition to where her torso and hips meet. I would agree with Ecce Signum though, about having the hip less cropped.
