Peaceful Warm Winterby apashackComment: Yes there is a perceived tilt to the supposed horizon line, but this out in nature, and there is no one horizon line! The middle ground left is sloped to the right, scooped out in the center and rises to the right side. The far hill is lumpy, the medium hill and trees are even lumpier, but most of all the tree trunks we can discern are vertical. Tilting the "horizon" level would have slanted them. That would be much more of a visual problem. This particular piece of landscape provides us a level of abstraction to demonstrate HD. |
