Spentby CalliopeKelComment: I really like this one...visually interesting subject matter, great light, nice composition, and the DOF really makes the chair pop. Good capture! |

A Hard Way to Make a Buckby bvoiComment: What a great image! Thanks for bringing us this absurd slice of life. I would have liked to see it framed a little higher, with more sky and less ground, to set a larger stage for this melodrama... but fabulous, nonetheless! |

Vailby TejComment: You're right, tejinder... too small to make a good critique. I do agree that the pole is a distraction that could be fixed with a little cropping. I also think that the big tree in the middle kinda cuts the picture up in a distracting way. Too bad you didn't have a chainsaw with you, hehe :). Dave |

Gravity by thegrandwazooComment: Wow! It actually seems to me as though the person is floating away, held down only by the chains. Nice effect! Great light and good composition. |

Moonwalkby arngrimurComment: This picture succeeds where a lot of the other entries didn't in that it captures the action of the subject at precisely the right moment. Great color, fabulous composition, and I love the little puffs of sand! |

Supersonic Jumpby madcrabberComment: strangely enough, the first thing that popped into my head was that iconic photo of the soldiers putting the flag up on Iwo Jima... Nice shot. |

Windsurfingby KonadorComment: The lack of an obvious launching point fot the figure creates great tension! It's hard to say what's happening to this guy... is he jumping up, coming down, or being blasted by an angry and vengeful God for some terrible misdeed? I do seem to see some awkward transitioning between the color and b/w areas, especially around the hands, though it's hard to tell at this resolution. Overall, I like it a lot. |

Jammin'by NitenComment: I really like the ambiguity of scale here... I'm assuming this is an R/C model, but it manages to read as full-size until you begin comparing the scale of the car and the background. A nice dynamic shot. |
