I like this shot. I would have liked more of the horses - even at the taken focal length you could have cropped some of the top without losing anything compositionally. As it is, you only got 6 votes out of 191 below 4, so I would think that this was perceived pretty universally as being good, but not spectacular.

Rating (and critiquing) pictures of statues is tough, because I like to see something added in the photograph that extends the original intent of the sculptor. I think the angle addresses this, but only slightly. Perhaps this would have performed better with a dramatic thunderstorm in the background, or a rainbow, or a sunburst coming through a cloud, to add new meaning and context to the image.
As it is, the technical aspects of the shot are fine, and it isn't an unpleasant image. I would have pegged it at a 5 or 6.

You know, if you photoshop in hair, and photoshop out the facial hair, and rounded the jawline a bit...bah, never mind. You're *still* a really ugly woman!!
(Technically, this is great - good lighting, good colors, excellent "glam" fashion look - at the same time satirical and complimentary. You get a 10.)
