Outside local pub.....Akaroa....New Zealandby HoogieComment: I wanna go , I wanna go..... Of all the places in the world I want to see , New Zealand is the top of the list. A filter to take out the haze would make this perfect. Great shots like this dont ease my desire to come there. |

King of the Hillby DougPazComment: If you pull back and look at the thumbnail you can see where the brush or leaves in the lower left throw off the balance of this shot. Imagine though if evrything in this were symetrical , wow . that would be cool. I tried this too with mixed results, nature doesnt always give us a perfect canvas . But it is out there. |

The Hill In Infraredby DavenitComment: This is so cool . The infrared makes this setting look like a model village. I am however drawn to the left a bit too much. You can see how the lines and darker clouds do that. Wouldnt mind living in one of these shacks too. |

A little walk in the ol' countryby blind_as_a_batComment: If you could take out the power lines, center the tree . It would help . But they might have arrested you for chopping down power pole's. Power lines and sometimes wire fences are a big negative . |

Down the valleyby amnonComment: The horizon kinda fades out because of the haze. if the contrast was turned up a few notches it might help. The road travelling diagonally really makes this a great shot but it peters out in the center left third of the pic. Leaving your eyeballs standing there waiting for a place to go. Great landscape 7 |

Silhouette at sunrise.by MarklaneComment: Best of the lonely tree type.By cropping in the main tree I think you gave it greater emphasis. Pretty cool I hadnt thought of that.9 |

Martin hillby ivanaComment: This is great , a little noisey however too much sharpening or low resolution? The horizontal lines , are they unavoidable power lines ? I love the false colors great effect, either intentional or natural. |

The Strong, Silent Typeby indigo997Comment: I dig the lonely tree type.however in this the tree is not the sole focus. The darker forground diminishes the impact as well asthe mountain peak. you still get an 8 |
