Perfect. Composition, B&W range, tone, texture, nice sharp (but not over-sharpened) image. Means nothing, but I gave you a '10' and hope to see this in the top three at the end. I like photos where I can learn (steal) some ideas, this is one of those. Congrats!

I really liked this the first time I saw it, then came back around and liked it even more. It means nothing of course, but you get my blue ribbon for B & W Portrait II. Everything works- it's just a great shot.

This has to be in the top three, if not the winner. You did a great job of putting this together. Rich, full and sharp. Great photo!

It was a toss-up for me between this and another photo for the blue (which means NOTHING). It seems like I never get close. The sky is great. You get a real deep, rich feel of dimension. Great color, nice composition. It feels candid even if it wasn't. Super job.

I hope I don't jinx you, but this is my pick for the blue. It just works for me at lot's of different levels and I like the duo-chrome, DOF, blowing dust (dirt). Very, very good job.

Blue Ribbon! I went through 'em all and this is definately it (of course I haven't picked THE winner yet) but I'm confident this time. Great job, monochrome, sharp, nice tonal range. Superior photo- at least to me.

This photo does the best job of the 'landscape' requirement of the contest, in a real (not forced/contrived) way. This deserves to finish in the top three. Great job lighting BTW. I like the backlight, very effective! Congrats!

I know everyone is busy judging/voting on the other contest but for what it's worth, I thought this deserved at least someone's comments- this is a GREAT shot. The color, the eyes, the framing, everything is superior. Congrats- I have something to shoot for. 10.

Superior job on the eyes, nice dreamy quality, slightly out of focus but I think it helps the overall image. I scored you way high. Congrats on a great photo.

I went through all the entries twice before I voted. This is my blue ribbon winner- which is probably the kiss of death (sorry). Great example of how much you can pack into a B&W image, this would have been quite different in color. Nice job!
