Guys, I don't think this is our pod!by BeckyTComment: I laughed out loud when I saw this. It's so cute!
I would have liked it better had it not been such central composition, but that's the only bad thing about this image.

Dragon Peasby ShaneBlakeComment: How cute! Very original idea, I love it. The yellow was a perfect backdrop for the green. Very well done.

Give "Peas" a Chance...by CutterComment: There were lots of images with a peace sign on it, and yours was, bar none, the best. I love the selective desaturation, and the tones are great...
This is my pick to be in the top 10, if not get a ribbon.

Pea Cuisineby BebeComment: At first, it was like "AHHH RETINA ATTACK!"
...Sorry.
But it's good. I love the concept, I would have maybe liked it more without the pea in the spoon. And if the spoon had been a little darker, as to not be so harsh. But it would be hard to do in these conditions.

Good girls eat their vegetablesby holidayComment: I like the splash of red in this to contrast the green, but I wish there was in fact a white point.
Otherwise, good contrast and color balance, you've done a good job of making the green of the peas stand out.

Chameleonby enashComment: I so want to know how you did this. It looks like a rendering, even though it's been validated... |

Queuingby elhessarComment: I love this picture almost as I love Oreos.
But it could be better in two ways. One, backdrop. I'm guessing you used a white bedsheet? The wrinkles near the back are distracting. Second, just a little flaw, a light reflection in the handle of the cup. :)
I still give it a 6, plus one for the fact that you made me want Oreos and milk. |

The Egg!by CheerzComment: I have 3 complaints about this image, which could have been made better with just a little better post-processing.
1.) Noise. That pretty much speaks for itself.
2.) Border. The white of the border makes the background look incredibly cyan.
3.) Size of the image. The maximum size of an image on DPC is 640x640. Use that to your advantage.
Without those post-processing flaws, I tell you, that it could have been a 8 or a 9. It's a great graphical work, with great composition.
But, alas, I give it a 6. |

Lines and Forksby levyj413Comment: Another one that looks a bit better in the thumbnail. It's just not very cleanly done. I know it's not the easiest thing in the world to do, too, but it could have been made a little better with spot editing. Just things like the split between the two backgrounds, and the blue halo around the white side of the glass.
Overall, I give this a 6. Good effort. :) |
