I think this photo is great. Very high contrast (which I love), fantastic lighting and full of texture. My only suggestion would be the back rim. It fads off into the backdrop and almost appears as though the glass is broken.

With better lighting I think this shot could have been fantastic. I love the idea. Maybe on a white background the great color in those grapes would have popped a little better with the same amount of lighting.

I'm guessing you will be getting alot of comments saying that this shot doesn't fit the challenge. Who cares, I love this photo. I'd like it framed in my kitchen. The rusty (?) ground or counter-top (whatever it is) is a great contrast to the minimal DOF.

I would have loved to see the pouring without it being right in front of the tree...it's a little distracting but i know that with a candid shot it's not possible to control the background. On that note, I think that its a fun shot that is great for being candid. The contrast is just right in my mind.

Neat! The purple tint is really great. The bubbles are great for the texture of the water. Looks like this shot would have been a lot of fun!

You'll probably get some questions about the lighting but I like it. My only suggestion would be to clone out the upper rim so the color just seems to fade from the shot without reappearing near the top. I'm having an issue with lower right part of the glass also...it looks weird. But I think that colors are fantastic and the lighting is unique. Good job!

Intriguing...this shot leaves me wondering what the drink is. Ginger ale? Light beer? Rum and Coke? I'm having a hard time getting a focus point but I love the POV.

Oh that's horrible! What self respecting Pepsi would want to be a Coke? Fun shot though, shows that we all have a little something in us that wants to be something else... I think the lighting was good and the DOF was just right. My only thought would be the rear-rim blending with the back drop. As a Pepsi fan, I'll give it an 8. :)

I love that you didn't choose a white background. The tan'ish color makes it seem "dirtier". One criticism thought; the reflections in the glass are a little distracting (it looks like there maybe a tv on to the left.) This is a shot that would be fun to hang in the kitchen. Good luck!

I love the way that only the liquid is lit. The colors and the composition are great. With a little spot editing (if it were allowed) this could be a 10 for sure. Without it, I'll still give it a 9. :)
