Complicated Natureby homensComment: Nothing to break the pattern or focus the eye on, and the twig in the foreground should be removed. |

The branch that feedsby cabaComment: A good find, and I like the contrasts and fluid forms, but the focus doesn't lead the eye anywhere. |

Dead Branch Driftingby ShecoyaComment: Out of focus, and the skewed line of the river bank bang in the centre makes for a poor composition. |

A Bat, Branch Dancer.by BrianRComment: The bat is the subject here, and the branch seems to be nothing more than a prop. The post production effects look to be used purely for the sake of using effects too. |

Branches of fountainby nrulkovComment: From another direction without the casino in shot would have worked better. You can see some nice forms in the 'branches' around the other side. Perhaps you should have concentrated on those. |

EATING AT THE "Y"by medinfo2000Comment: The close macro shot is too much an insect shot and relegates the branch to the backseat missing the brief. Pulling out to relax the viewevers attention away from the caterpillar and let it camoflague itself would have fitted the challenge by bringing the branch back to centre stage and made this idea a lot stronger. |

Hangin' On By A Limbby jonnieComment: The effect of the wire fences takes a lot away from this unusual shape of the solitary branch on a dead tree. I like the thought process of trying to include the other close layer to both frame the tree and make the fences a feature though, and I kind of think you pulled it off. well done. 8 |
