Torn Branchesby SilienceComment: A stunning effect to break the branch, but the circle around the edge and the telephone wires are distracting. |

Short Sleeve?by YoungerComment: Excellent find, and great form in the branch and texture in the bark. |

The two newest branches on the family treeby downtherabbitholeComment: If the rest of the family tree was included in the background and the girls were specifically picked out using a close DOF this idea would be a lot stronger. Makes an adorable shot of the kids despite this. Great pose and interaction with the camera. |

Dieing branchby pkarkareComment: It's spelt dying. Despite this, the shot is uninteresting, the close crop and short DOF don't seem to serve any purpose. Anything at all on the twig to break the monotony of the line would have helped: an insect, a bird... anything, and it needn't even be in the foreground and in focus. |

Ninja Princessby JutildaComment: Before I read the title I thought this was a clever analogy to the branch of the children of Abraham, with the Hijab on the model. Pity because it's much stronger than a ninja?!?! holding a twig. Where's the connection?
Badly focused as well. |

Branch: Bearer of Good Timesby johansecComment: Seems very dark, (maybe adjust your WB for cloudy conditions), and this causes the white rope to stand out and rob all the attention. A more muted colour than white would help. |

Among Themby DottieDComment: The badly focused branch in the foreground is distracting, but nice scale and idea. |
