Dartboard & Limeby Mal37Comment: You know, I like the concept and contrast in colors. But I think this would've been a lot more effective had the entire image be sharp - the DOF causes the punctures in the dartboard, not to mention the border between black and yellow to lose their power...also gives it a sense of motion when there really isn't any. I think a sharper overall image would pack a lot more punch. |

On the Prowlby toddheadComment: Fantastic DOF, a very fun photograph, which oddly enough doesn't have that much nudity. Guess that shows you don't have to reveal much to bare it all. :) |

We're Waiting...by CalamitysMaster00Comment: Definitely can see why an advertiser would like it. Love the grain of traditional film, it adds to the timelessness of a piece like this. DOF is splendid, and the contrast work. Would make one recommendation - the bag on the left is so close to the border, I'd actually consider cropping it so that the bag bled off the photo. |
