Smith Rocksby Sunshine86Comment: I like the concept with the color here; however, I would normally mark down for the halo along the rim and the distracting black holes in the image. I would like to see a bit more detail. It is interesting that the end of the canyon wall where it seems to be its darkest is a contrasting bright spot and again this keeps pulling away from the rest of such a beautiful image. I am curious though...did you use RSE? I like the original thinging with the border. I also like your original thinking with color choices. I love color and despite every...I'm giving it a 10! |

Life's Dichotomyby docpjvComment: I think 'stare down' would have been a better title for the image. I would have liked to have seen less depth of field to bring the beak into sharp focus with the head and to bring the feather line at the edges of the bird into focus adding a bit more detail. I also would have used the burn tool to darken the light area along the feathers on the upper right of the image.
area of the bird. IMO. All in all though, this is a very good image! I gave it a seven. |

Great Tree at Sunsetby ginjerComment: I don't care for the title...I might have used 'Winter Tree' or 'Winter Colors'. I would of liked the tree moved a bit closer to center and backed out a little bit on the composition to add more of the gorgeous colors of the sky to the image. I think overall this has a chance at a ribbon. I gave it an eight. |

Reflection by gisliComment: I like the yellow and blue combination. The foreground rocks are a bit distracting at the bottom but the detail in the image is excellent. The lights at the base of the mountain don't appear in the reflection of the water. The reflection may or may not appear in the original but as it stands adds to the overall appeal of the image. All things considered, just a great capture. Ten. |

Mother Natureby jaxedComment: I think the average (commentors) had the correct opinion on this one! By the way, I gave it a ten in the voting. I'd go into all the boring reasons why...but sometimes you just have to sit back and breath the image in!! Just a wonderful job!! This one is 'All Jaxed UP'!
