Comment:
I've seen my fair share of isolated subject nude shots, and I'm bored of the human body.

Waxing Gibbous

Comment:
I want to see things I haven't seen before on here. But it sure is a real good picture of the moon, golly. You must have nice equipment. It's too bad that I've seen five million pictures of waxing crescents and gibbouses and full moons and 3/4 moons and what have you.

Absolute Still

Absolute Still1st Place

Comment:
it's a bit underexposed... just a touch. I know you wanted it to look dark, but i think some more detail of the reflection on the pond would be killer. The sky looks real nice, and the image certainly fits the title.

Atomic Clock

Comment:
It's too straightforward and sleek/sleazy for my liking. It's blank art. But it does look sharp. I think it merits a three because I am a terrible person.

04:00AM- all ok!

Comment:
I like it. It's confusing, it's hazy, the light's too harsh, you don't know what's going on. Kind of like an early morning. I'm giving you a ten, because I know people will be jerks and give you low votes.

I like that silhouette. You shouldve cropped off the leftmost car. Go photojournalism.

No Smoking
by Stillbored

Comment:
Yeah, I can appreciate no-smoking laws though. If you can't smoke in the comfort of public indoor space, you may be less likely to smoke. It certainly has kept me from becoming addicted, since I only smoke while drunk and outside, whereas if i could smoke indoors while drunk I'd probably smoke a lot more. I really like orange shots, you shouldve cropped out more of the left side, i don't like that bright spot on the left.

Snowmaking On Attitash Mountain 4:52am

Comment:
You should've gotten a shot without that huge stick for the snowmaker on the right side. the chairs, trees, and sky are fantastic together, but that big stick in the foreground on the right side is extremely distracting, and adds nothing. 5

Alarm Clock Assassin

Comment:
I don't find this terribly clever. Why Bacardi? Do you work in the marketing department of Bacardi? Also, the light that bottle creates behind the clock kind of ruins the drama of the shot.

Breakfast of Champions

Comment:
"sex sells"

the man's naked torso detracts from the focus of the photograph, the coffee pot.
plus, it's not light out at 4 or 5 AM, and that lighting suggests light coming through a window. also, the isolated subject thing isn't a good thing, it makes it look unnatural and commercial, and this shot would be a lot better in the context of a kitchen or something.
