Good Idea. Puttng the woman in the lower left would have help improve the compostion, as it is what is below and to her left seems wasted and pulls my eye away from her. The waves in the upper left also pull my attention away from her - so I lose the cental theme of the image. The wall(?) at the bottom does not add to the iamge - too faint to be a frame of any kind.

Good use of black an white - I don't care as much for the black border around the white - it might have helped if you could have balance it to get better symmetry.

The clouds are too blown out and the cow is a bit dark - I think you picked to large a contrast across the picture to pull it off. The fence wire is also a distraction.

I like the effect - and catching the raindrops on the tips of the tassels works very well - I do think a bit more of a crop taking away more ofhte bottom of the image would have helped accentuate the rain effect.
