Hushby IvoryComment: Wow...what a nice shot! I normally don't like borders but you really did a great job of making it part of the shot. |

Still Life With Potteryby KarenNfldComment: This is a nice shot in black and white. Not knowing what the colors were, however, it seems like this would be an stunning shot in color. |

The Stillness of Sunsetby lefteyewillyComment: This is a nice sunset and using a single subject adds a lot of impact. I'd like to offer a couple of thoughts.
This is a good instance where using the "rule of thirds" would be an excellent idea. Putting the tree one third on either side of the image would have really improved the image.
Also, the tree is really small in the frame and there's not a lot else to add interest. It might have added more interest if you could have filled the frame with more of the tree.
I understand that neither of these may have been possible (if you were a long way away and clutter on either side of the tree). Just my thoughts. |

Modern Redcoatsby mistchild2008Comment: I think you want me to look at the girls in the background but because of his more prominent placement, the guy sitting on the rock(?) is getting my attention. |

Fort Hill Sunsetby Bear_MusicComment: I was very excited about this shot until I scrolled down. The clouds are beautiful and perfectly exposed. Unfortunately, the sun seriously detracts from the shot as it's overpoweringly bright and overexposed. I can certainly see that you would want something in the foreground to add interest, I think that, ultimately, you would have done better to crop it. |
