Calmness of Nightby alanfreedComment: a great night shot,the tree is offputting i think and a crop of the bridge from the right hand side of the tree would've been almost perfect - for a night shot - but i think just because an image is at night - doesn't mean it portrays darkness, in reality you're capturing light here. |

the darkness withinby aplomb76Comment: THIS is darkness, the whole mood, the feeling of `evil` - i've gone through soooo many images on here, and so many misinterpretations (sunsets, lightning, fireworks... these are all a play on LIGHT - something that may compliment darkness - but is NOT darkness itself).

you have a nack for using light well :-) i find the circular lights in this hold my attention, they almost look futuristic (if you section them out, like something from star wars... maybe! :-) |
