To me, this image is amazing and and mesmerizing. I seem to not want to move on to the next. I have come back to it over and over again and discussed it in the scores thread (not mentioning specifics, just "this one image"). This meets the challenge perfectly because it certainly works well as a negative. I'm curious to see the positive original. The amount of detail here and the combination of the blues, black, and white work very well. These colors usually work well for voters here too so I expect that your are scoring very high. If you don't take the blue ribbon then I will be very surprised. This is now one of my favorites. 10

The processing on this image is a good balance between exposing detail in the rocks and not blowing out too much of the breakers.

This is a difficult shot to get. I know because I just returned from a four day trip that included canoe on two rivers with cypress trees. The bright reflections take distract from this. I found that thick cloud cover and finding a group of trees with thick dense foilage in the background helps to avoid the bright reglections. The shot also needs to be rotated clockwise about 5 degrees also.

Nice, clean and simple. Simple looking, that is with the uncomplicated background. Freezing these waterdrops like this was probably far from simple.
