Anger Unleashed by Joey LawrenceComment: OK I sat back when this came up. MOODS, you want MOODS, you got MOODS. Very well done, however I can only see fit to give this a 10. PS I don’t give 10s often. |

This is a very strong image. The colors in the sky are rich and vibrant, the foreground contrasts well with the background. This photo is very well done.
A critique of any image can always find something that could be improved on. I could comment on the horizon not being exactly horizontal, and could nit pick at the “sail” not being exactly vertical. However that would be not picking, and that’s not me.
All I can say about this image is that it would look good on an office wall with an inspirational saying under it.
Very well done and keep up the good work, hope to see more of your work.

Magic Bus - Oh but to dream . . .by lytaComment: From Critique Club:
This is a good candid portrait; you have captured the subject very well. The eyes are the window to the soul.
It is very seldom that portrait looking up the nose works. That can be most unflattering. Like so many images I see, it seems to be over saturated. The colors look (candy) and not natural, this could be from changing the hue of the image or just over saturation. This would appear to be a very common mistake. Flesh tones are for the most part are not so bright. Toning down the color and contrast would help this image quite a bit.
It is however a very nice portrait.

Over all image impact is strong, the background out of focus helps draw your eye to the subject. The expression on her face is relaxed and pleasing. All this makes for a good out door portrait. Perhaps a vertical framing would have been a little better. That would let the subject fill more of the frame.
The image appears to be a bit (candy color) in your comments you indicate that the image was enhanced by - Saturation - Auto Contrast - Shadows and Highlights. I have noticed a tendency to over saturate images; a portrait in most cases does not need much saturation. Too much saturation and contrast tend to make the flesh tones look (candy color). Not to say that this is not a good portrait, however I think if you were to use less saturation and contrast you may see the difference. Some time less is better.
Over all I would say well done, keep up the good work.
