This is a very strong image. Well composed, good lighting, and an excellent choice of backgrounds. The reflection on the background in the ring is very good. The use of DOF to draw your eye to the stone is well done. When any image is critiqued, something always can be found wrong, if you nit pick at everything. That is not what I would call a good way to critique an image. This image is just good and I canĂ¢€™t say anything bad about it.

Well done and keep up the good work, I hope to see more of your work in the future.

Over all image impact is excellent, the use of negative space, and color make this a very interesting image. The lighting was well set and almost no shadows. The strong offset placement of the flower adds impact to the image. I feel this should have placed much higher than it did. The fact you used what you had on hand for lighting and background only make this a more impressive image.

As with any image, one could find fault with some part of it, if you look hard enough. I have only one thing to add, and that is you could have made the flower maybe just a tad darker, not much, just a bit. Having said that I still think this is a good strong image.

It would seem that I am in the minority, seeing how this placed in the challenge. That is what makes art, art. Just because this placed low in the challenge does not lessen the quality if the image.
