"An old classic for a new friend"by jeroweComment: I would like the photo much better if the baby was sleeping. I realize that newborns are hard to photograph, but this facial expression leaves a little to be desired. ALso your light might have been better moved around the other side of the subject. You never want to light up at a subjects nose. Even if they are laying down. Your catch light should almost always be seen in the top part of the eye. If you see it in the bottom part then you know you light could be better. Just a thought. |

Past and Presentby brizmamaComment: I would have darkened the wood in the foreground, it would really draw your eye to the subjects. Insead my eye goes between the boys and the foreground. I think if you fix that I would really improve your shot. Very nice moment. |

Daddy's Girlby jpochardComment: take the diaper off. I realize that there may be a chance of pee or poop with the little one, but your picture will be better. I have had my hand pooped on and my foot peed on and I was only the photographer not the mom or dad. It is worth the risk, babies are meant to be photographed naked! Nice moment though. |
