by timmiComment: I find myself applying photoshop filters to shots that had visual flaws - camera motion or blurryness - and I wonder what this shot would have been without effects. I also wonder what effect you used. Regardless of these questions, the shot is compelling. Nice work. |

Storm.jpgby FibonacciComment: Oh, the joys of the "Saturation / Hue" adjustment control; how would we make drammatic photos without it? Seriously, so often it is the color of the subject that gets our attention in the first place, but the camera or film does not quite report what we 'see.' Though the clouds are impossibly steely blue and the grass impossibly chartreuse, it is precisely this juxtaposition of warm and cold that makes the photo. Nice. |
