Blue by FirstyComment: And that folks, is a photo of fireworks, just the way it should be done. Loads of color, definition, and crispy focus. Beautiful job. The light is often so bright that a lot of fireworks go "hot" in photos, but these are saturated with rich color. Nice editing work. Small "dead" spot in the top left but that's all part of shooting fireworks. Like the framing as well. 9 |

Goldenby sigrun_thComment: A long narrow crop would definately be more suitable here. Love the clarity and colors. Lots of soft, wispiness. Looks like a neon palm tree! But I want to see the whole "tree". The crop is losing this one some points unfortunately. 7 |

City of fireby BogiComment: Looks like a warzone! Shot's too busy tho. Definately shows the exitement of New Years! A crop from the sides would assist in focusing, instead of the eyes darting around the picture. That's what mine are doing anyway...and no, it's not from the partying :) 5 |

New Years Eve in the Mile High Cityby lil_moComment: Beautiful shot, but I think a long narrow crop, including the entire "sparkler", would draw my eyes less to the city background. I'm perceiving two subjects (city and fireworks) Still, a wonderful panoramic feel to it. 7 |

There's a party hereby hajekaComment: Love the textures created here. Very wispy and soft, and that arc you've captured is too cool. |

My birdby anferhComment: Crop out the white flower as it's drawing so much focus off the pretty bird and orange flowers. Nice pic otherwise. |

The Xbox 360by terjeComment: As a mother, I despise this photo. PS3 my foot. Got enuf of them in my house! However, this is a nice shot for an ad. It is a bit hot in the white areas tho, detracting from the best view of the consoles features. More definition between the console, the paddle and the background would help. Only $399.99 you say? :P I gave it a 7 |

Average-9 - I like the expression and the connection the subject is making with the camera. Great colors and definition. Don't like the darkening at the bottom of the shot, but the halo effect around him is very nicely done. The structure on the right side of the photo is a bit distracting as well. Would make a great ad for "kindness and sharing" :) That's the emotion I get from it. |
