Vocalist by KonadorComment: Although I wasn't around to vote for this one, I have to say.. it's really a great shot!
Although I can't help thinking it would be a LITTLE bit better if the guy had been on fire. |

Seductionby AleciaComment: Great expression on her face. Certainly says 'lust' with discomforting intensity. There are a lot of confusing issued with the shot, though. For example, the upper right hand corner is a lot of empty space. And the tension in the woman's hand seems in conflict with the rest of the shot. Still, the sinful mood comes across well. 9 - chrisab. |

Greetings from Pittsburghby alanfreedComment: This is nice. I think it's a little over exposed for my taste. The sky is too bright for a night shot, and some of the brighter lights are overblown to the point of distraction. But the reflection on the river is very nice, and the colors are good. 7 - chrisab. |

Seattleby joannsComment: I SO know how you feel! Living in Seattle and seeing the mountain off in the distance on a clear day is just one of the most amazing sites. Communicating the mountain along with the city is sort of the holy grail of Seattle Photography, I guess. And it's a really tough shot to get. I tried many shots of this as well and decided in the end that I couldn't express the whole scene on 'film' as I saw it. That's a big part of photography, I think - editing reality. If we were meant to capture the entire scene as it really existed, photography would be mostly 360 degree 120mm film loops :) Anyway, 6.66 is a very respectable score.. good job! |

Seattleby joannsComment: It's too bad it's so hard to really get Rainier to stick out in this picture. I've tried several times myself! Nice exposure on the needle. A little too much dead space along the bottom. 7. |

Negative Mapplethorpeby AleciaComment: This was a daring idea. You are very brave for crafting an image of this type. And while I 'get' it, I have to say that this doesn't move me quite the way I might have wished to be moved. Also, the edges look a little jaggy. And stuff. |

Coming ...and Going?by KarenBComment: Great shot. I like the way the way the image is molded into the 'negative space'. One of the most original concepts for the challenge, and well done. 9 - chrisab. |
