I like the colors and idea of the photo. It looks like it was taken in a low light environment causing a shallow DOF. When I encounter this situation, I take everything outdoors for better lighting. Keep shooting

If you were trying to achieve soft focus on everything except the needle, you did a good job. I will give you the benefit of the doubt as I expect you will be told it is out of focus. I hope people see it as you must have been intended to be viewed.

Bombs and Bullets ... Tools of War

This B-17 must have been a tool for many aircrews from the number of bombs that represent missions flown. I know many will look on this as just another airplane photo, but the photo tells a story and the history of the B-17. I try to look inside a photo for the story and you did a great job in showing its history. Good exposure and sharpness. 10

I guess you are trying to compare the salt falls to a water fall. This photo could have benefitted by better lighting and cropping. Good idea
