Fallen Leavesby agwrightComment: I liked the haze/blur and the edging of the ripples, but found the leaves and raindrops to be too crisp to be fully impressionistic. |

Suburban Impressionismby smokeditorComment: Nicely simple and one of the few times that level roof lines really would have detracted from a pic, in fact, it lends nicely to the art that may be present in a perspective piece and the watery impressionism filter you chose was just enough. |

True to natureby terjeComment: I love the angel hair effect of time lapse on this kind of water. As a photo, this gets high marks alone for composition. Even tho the left side seems heavy at first with the peak and foreground it is nicely offset by the 2/3 sky. Too much photo in the foreground tho to push it over the top for impression. |

The Deliveryby GolferDDSComment: Reminds me of my father's store when I was growing up. How many times I saw this scene in the rain and fog, hauling the soda into the walk-in cooler. You unfortunately could not control his movements as I think this would have been even more perfect if the white bay behind him could have been eliminated and only the open bay with the red bays in the background. |

pines at sunsetby ursulaComment: Hmmmm this challenge is like a game to find out how you all did this. Looks like a reflection and 180 rotation. Excellent tecnique whatever it was, but the Pines looked more on the trunk side than the pine side. Still like the far majority of this challenge, you got some high scores on this one. |

Winter strollby geewhyComment: This picture haunted me. I had to view it on a CRT to finally realize that the gamma had gone on my home LCD. When I first saw it I could not see the umbrella and it looked like a headless person holding a mirror. I like this shot very much, but the leaves in the lower corner are too much of a reality check. Great technique in the impressionism! |

Cold november night by heidaComment: Curious about how you got the blue/white light contrast. Something in the wall and her jacket seemed to cause your camera to draw lines through her. Otherwise this is yet another of those top-scoring submissions in this very talented challenge. |

Confessionby karmatComment: I love this photo. The effect is very powerful even without the title it would have touched a deep chord. I gave you high marks, but it seemed too photo, not enough impression. Can I get away with actually saying it seems like it needed MORE noise? I think I need to go to confession.... |

Water Lilies (The Clouds)by GordonComment: This is excellent work. Looks like a combination of camera movement and multiple ripples to do the hard work. Upper right corner's dark area seemed like it was not in synch with the resot of it, but I still had a very hard time when it came to deciding if this was one of the three 10's. |

The Fountainby autoolComment: Excellent crop and lines versus curves. Something about the surge in the left became too distracting to me - like you had any control of the water.... Very high marks! |
