Free wheelingby cabaComment: nice chioce of silhouette for this shot. the forms are very interesting, particularly the ship. The cropping feels a little weird to me, like the right side could be cropped a little. Maybe it's just the tree that bothers me a little bit. |

Free Flightby lynnesiteComment: i've never tried shooting something like this, but a couple things that might increase the drama would be lowering your camera angle so the rider was above the line of the trees, and opening the photo up to the right a little more to give him more space and so he's less centered. I like the rider's pose, the DOF, lighting. |

Winningby C_Steve_GComment: despite the subject being a little blurred, the photo is technically 'right' as far as composition, leading lines, etc. But it has a static feel for a picture of a racer. |

flying freeby ursulaComment: i like the motion blur, it does capture the mood well. my suggestion would be for your model to have her head back a little more with her feet kicked out more so it has more of a free-flying mood. the feeling i get from it right now is hanging on for dear life. |

Calm the Fearby theflyComment: sorry about the low score. this was one of my few 10s in the challenge. it has a very strong emotion to it, and i'd rather see a shot like this any day than one that is chasing a blue ribbon. |

star warsby mrsamsaComment: I gave this photo a 10, and was really disappointed to see how low it scored. In a challenge without a lot of other fireworks pictures, I think this would have done really well because it is a fantastic picture. |

Lassoby BAMartinComment: great action and timing to get this shot. The on-coming action ads to the movement in the shot. Only thing that may not have been feasibly possible would be to have the background a little more out of focus. 9 |

Abandoned Buildingby bryanbrazilComment: i like the textures and shapes here. i'm not sure the angle ads that much to it, but would have to see different options. 7 |
