Drama Queenby KitaComment: The lighting in this shot is very interesting to me, though I wish that the shadows were less harsh. Maybe a little reflected light or 1/4th power fill flash could soften them a little. I think the pose is great in it's interaction with the background. The background is almost (but not quite) too dark since some of the details are lost and the writing is a little hard to read. The crack in the wall going down the right side of the image is a little distracting to me. Maybe cropping or clone it out would help. Great overall composition and focus. |

MEby -Bec-Comment: I like the off-center composition and smooth lighting in this shot. The catchlights in your eyes are great, and the pose/expression is fun. The background looks good all white. Great overall sharpness and exposure. |

Hiding In The Shadowsby bs-photosComment: I think this idea has potential, though I wish there were more light on your face. I think that reversing the lighting of subject and background could work with the same feel the title suggests. If you selectively lit your face (or just a part of it) and left heavy shadows in the background I think that would look good. |

Deep Thoughtsby TransitComment: I wish the shot weren't quite so dark because I think the idea works. The glint in your right eye helps, though I think too much detail has been lost to the shadows. |

Bad hair dayby Arti-ElviComment: This is an interesting shot. I like the white background and how it sets off the subject. The eyes are captivating and the catchlights are good. The shot has a pastey feel (that I'm not too enthusiastic about) which may be intruduced by the post processing. I like the composition and the overall focus is great. |

How my children see me...by lauraodomComment: Humorous concept for this challenge. I like the close crop, and I think black and white works well. Your face is in sharp focus, though I'd like the camera to be as well since it would provide extra interesting detail. |

Natures Kingby terjeComment: I really like the wideangle distortion to this shot. The colors are great and the composition is strong. The placement of yourself within the frame is good since you are looking out into the rest of the frame. |

Sugarbabeby AnastasiaComment: Absolutely gorgeous photo. The lighting is so nice and smooth, and the dark background really isolates the subject. The flowers add a nice extra component of interest. I think the crop is great and the catchlight in your eyes simply tops off this technically excellent photo. |

Moi-memeby overcloverComment: This shot feels very classy in black and white. I like the tilted composition a lot and the focus is superb. The catchlights in your eyes are great. I like how your glasses rest down on your nose and you are looking up into the camera. |
