crabbers.jpgby dolphnz8Comment: It's not a lot of folks that will de-saturate a sunrise picture, but I like this one. It refocuses the eye on the boat rather than the giant glowing orb in the sky. Overall a nice semi-sillhouette, the only thing I would probably do is to clone out the little items above the boat (birds?). |

Bob enters his sixth hour of the Wagner ring cycleby arhunt35Comment: As has been pointed out before, I think a little more attention to detail would have gone a long way to helping this image score better. While I like the concept, you could have hidden the light in the jaw a bit more, and the softness of a main subject, in this case the skull, is a score killer every time.
As far as the DNMC, well, that happens, don't let it deter you.
9.35 for concept, 4.95 for execution!
Wow...2 death references in one comment about a skull, that slays me!!! |

Harbor Sunriseby Bear_MusicComment: Very nice, Bear. Without being judgemental,I can see why some would have a hard time buying the low key aspect of this shot. There is a bit more light and shadow detail than I would think would be commonly acceptable. Having said that, it has some great shadow detail, and for an old sea dog like me, is very calming and restful, reminding me of cool mornings spent with a cup of coffee and a quiet harbor before the start of a hectic day. Kind of the deep breath before starting work. Let me know if you are going to do a print version. |

Holiday Gobletsby Jbchess1Comment: Maybe would have set off a bit more with a shade closer crop, and a little more symmetry. |

A Day at the Zooby SteveinnzComment: Not a bad shot, except for the chain link fringing. But what are you selling in our catalog? |
