i generally like bokeh, but the colors here seem to be flip-flopped... I would rather the bird be colorful and the lights be dull

While the photo may be appealing, the technical downfalls are too great to warrant an even average score. This looks like a poor camera-phone shot as the edges are way hard/harsh.

way to much grain on the central subject. it seems the levels are way overblown. Sometimes that can work, but it doesn't in this "photo"...

colors are good.
photo is too busy.
cropping isn't great - large "towel?" on entire right side.

perhaps a better angle would be looking up at the protruding shower-head with the steel siding on the bottom of the picture and the sky at the top. a large outdoor shower and open sky would make me think it works for "aussie", but this shot is just too plain and "snapshot" ish...

How can such a horrible image get 3rd place. Half the vote or more should be on technicality, and this image is completely blurry ... W T F
